File Uploading

Double click your C: drive. Right click anywhere in the white area, select New then Folder. Name the folder with your first and last name. Copy only the files you wish to download into the new folder.

If your default browser is Internet Explorer, please read this and the next paragraph and then click here Upload Manager (you also can right click "Upolad Manager" and choose "open in new window", to see these instructions and the upload window at the same time). A log in box will appear. Username is darkroom and password is lab. Click" View" then "Open FTP in Windows Explorer". If View is not visible, right click at the very top of the window and make sure "Menu" is checked. The login box may appear again, just enter the username and password again.
Drag or copy/paste the folder you created to anywhere in the white box. The upload will automatically begin. If IE is not your default, open IE and type ftp://thedarkroom.us into the address bar and hit enter

After your download is done, please make sure to click this link info@thedarkroom.us and e-mail us your instructions, name, and phone number. You are also welcome to call with instructions, 513 829 3154. The info link can also be used if you just have a few files to upload. Some large files may need to be sent one at a time using e-mail.

These instructions can also be used with Linux. Firefox requires the addon Fire FTP.

Open the program and follow the instructions in the screen shot.

 

Please note: If your computer is set to hibernate, sleep or to turn off the hard drive, your upload will be cutoff.
To check, go to Control Panel and check the settings under Power Options.
